Turnkey Services
MDE Electric offers turnkey electrical services for multi-family housing projects, and has wired over 50,000 apartments and condo developments during the past few decades.
After playing a major role in the growth of multi-family housing in Northern California, MDE’s experience and range of expertise is unparalleled in the region’s multi-family housing sector.
MDE is a specialist in the installation of electrical systems, including electrical infrastructure, residential wiring, low voltage wiring, security and access control systems, fire alarm systems, and DAS, wireless and Emergency Response systems. MDE’s service and maintenance department provides ongoing maintenance for all electrical systems.

Electrical Infrastructure
MDE performs all wiring services and installs the main power grid for each multi-family housing project. This involves bringing in the electricity from the transformer to the main point of entry and then wiring it to the electrical closets. After building out the electrical closets within the project, MDE runs the power throughout the facility to the various apartment or condo units.

Residential Wiring
MDE Electric serves the needs of residential property owners and is a specialist in the service and installation of residential electrical systems. Our highly trained electricians have wired hundreds of single family homes.
Whether you are remodeling your current home or building a new home, MDE is an expert in designing and installing entire electrical systems for your house. If you are renovating your home, MDE can upgrade your main service and your subpanel, adding additional switches, outlets and new lighting. Our electricians install everything from smoke detectors to attic fans, from recessed lighting to security systems.
We set up complete in-house networks, and can install all types of communication outlets. If you need decorative garden lighting or increased security, we will take care of your complete outdoor electrical needs. We offer emergency services and free estimates if your electrical equipment needs to be serviced.
Low Voltage
MDE Electric’s low voltage division provides a full range of voice, data and audio-visual services, including state-of-the-art telecom services. Low voltage services include structured cabling systems, fiber optic installation, and network services, along with installation of audio video systems.
In addition to providing low voltage service for each unit within the project, MDE also completes low voltage wiring for all project amenities, including pool, clubhouse, theater, fitness center, lounge, and game room.

Security/Access Control
MDE’s Division of Fire/Life Safety and Security installs state of the art access control systems, security cameras, and fire alarm systems. Today’s access control systems use technology to provide entrance and to solve the limitations of mechanical locks and keys. A wide range of methods are used to replace mechanical keys. When access is granted, the door is unlocked and the transaction is recorded.

DAS/Emergency Response
DAS solutions provide relief from saturated cell towers and ensure that end users within an apartment building or condo will not suffer lapses in coverage.
MDE has completed many DAS and public safety solution installations for a number of projects. We offer turnkey DAS services, including design, engineering, project management, installation, commissioning, and certification.
If a fire or other emergency occurs at an apartment complex, first responders can use the projects public safety communications system installed by MDE Electric to talk with each other.
The wireless system, also called an Emergency Responder Radio Coverage System (ERRCS), allows firemen, policemen, or other first responders to go inside a building while maintaining communications with each other and with dispatch over enhanced radio frequencies.
